Statement of Faith

Doctrinal Statement:
KGCA & CHESS was created to serve Christian families with a Biblical worldview.  Our Statement of Faith is strongly held convictions that guide our values, moral standards and integrity.  We teach and train our children according to Biblical principles that are guided by the Holy Spirit.  Our Biblical faith is essential and non-negotiable truths of the faith in Jesus Christ.  Parental and student agreement is required for enrollment.  Those holding contrary views to the Biblical faith should NOT apply. The same criteria apply to others groups and/or ministries, employees and volunteers.

We believe:

The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Our Report Ministries & Publications’ faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our [ministers/executive committee/board of directors] is Our Report Ministries & Publications’ final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Ps 139.)

  1. The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
  2. There is only one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule for ever.
  4. In the bless hope of the eternal state of man, of the Church at Christ’s coming.
  5. The only means of being cleansed from sin (of flesh, or against the body, the eye and the pride of life) is through repentance and faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ.
  6. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
  7. The redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross provides restoration for man by Faith.
  8. The baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to those who desires to be adopted into the Body of Christ.
  9. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Holy life.
  10. In the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
  11. God made man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. God blessed them and said unto them be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, Genesis 1:26:28.
  12. Because God has ordained marriage and defined it as the covenant relationship between a man, a woman, and Himself, [the Church] will only recognize marriages between a biological man and a biological woman. Further, the pastors/ministers/clergy and staff of Our Report Ministries & Publications shall only participate in weddings and solemnize marriages between one man and one woman. Finally, the facilities and property of Our Report Ministries & Publications shall only host weddings between one man and one woman.

Statement of faith concerning holidays

Now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets" Romans 3:21.

We do not celebrate and/or teach pagan holidays. We study and teach the Feasts of the Lord because Christ came to fulfill all that was written of Him in "the Law, the Psalms and the Prophet." "He came in the volume of the Book it is written of Me" (Luke 24, John 5:45-46, Acts 3:22-23, Hebrews 10:7, I Cor 15:46-47).

The Feast acknowledges the truth, the external form of the Law, first the natural, afterwards the Spirit. This is the patterns set forth from heaven on earth relative to the plan of redemption for the present dispensation from the first coming of Christ (Passover), through the Church Age (Pentecost to the second coming of Christ (Tabernacles).

• We believe that Disciples of Christ have been commanded to teach as Christ has instructed. “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself” (Luke 24:27).

• We believe pagan holidays such Christmas and Easter do not teach or testify of Christ Jesus as the scriptures have said. “And He said unto them, these are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Me" (Luke 24:44).

• We understand that many keep and celebrate these pagan holidays; therefore we separate ourselves completely from such teachings and/or celebrations that are contrary to what the Bible teaches and that which nullifies the true testimony of Jesus. "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you" (II Corinthians 6:16-17).

We believe in and receive the gifts of the Spirit:

  • Word of Wisdom
  • Gift of Faith
  • Word of Knowledge
  • Gift of Healing
  • Working of Miracles
  • Spirit of Prophecy
  • Discernment
  • Divers kinds of tongues
  • Interpretation of tongues

Any misconduct shall be reported to the child’s parent by the person in charge of the activity as soon as possible.

A parent may ask another member to supervise a child (or children) at an event as long as the parent remaining at the activity can reasonably supervise the number of children in his or her care and is willing to accept full responsibility for all such children.

Statement of Belief on Family and on Christian Education

Section 1: FAMILY

We believe that the family is the basic governmental, social, and spiritual unit created by God. In it, the child learns self- government, social relationships, and develops a relationship with God the Creator and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, according to John 3:5 and 16, Ephesians 6:1 and Colossians 3:20. The family also provides protection and the ultimate authority from over-extensive government and over-stimulating social involvements.

We understand "family" to mean a male and female parent, legally married, with one or more children (Genesis 1:26-28) although we recognize the exceptions of a single parent, adopted, foster, and step children (James 1:27).

We reject homosexual marriages or homosexual orientation because it is contrary to Scripture and the intentions of God in creation (Romans 1:18-32), and we believe that such relationships are destructive to children and the very idea of family. Further, we reject transitory, co-habitational relationships (living together as husband/wife without being married) as being equally in violation of God's laws and incapable of providing the long-term nurture and instruction needed by children and commanded by God (Proverbs 1:8-9, 2:1-11; Colossians 3:21; and Ephesians 6:4). In view of this, no homosexual or merely co-habiting "parents" are eligible for membership in this Christian home education and/or support group.

Because God has ordained marriage and defined it as the covenant relationship between a man, a woman, and Himself, Our Report Ministries & Publications will only recognize marriages between a biological man and a biological woman. Further, the pastors/ministers/clergy and staff of this Ministry shall only participate in weddings and solemnize marriages between one man and one woman. Finally, the facilities and all property of Our Report Ministries & Publications shall ONLY host weddings between one man and one woman.

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen 1:26-27.) Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

We believe that the term “marriage” has only ONE meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Gen 2:18-25.) We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Cor 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb 13:4.) We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.

We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. (Matt 15:18-20; 1 Cor 6:9-10; Romans 1:17-32.)

We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of Our Report Ministries & Publications as the local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model to the Ministry members and the community,

it is imperative that all persons employed by Our Report Ministries & Publications in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, agree to and abide by this Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality. (Matt 5:16; Phil 2:14-16; 1 Thess 5:22.)

We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who repent, confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ and being born again by the Spirit. (Acts 3:19-21; Rom 10:9-10; 8:1:1; 1 Cor 6:9-11.)

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31.) Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Our Report Ministries & Publications.

Section 2: EDUCATION

We believe that the ultimate responsibility for the education of children belongs to parents (Deuteronomy 4:9, 6:1-25, and 4:1-4). Thus, we believe this is an inalienable right given by God, which the State cannot create, destroy, or alter. Parents may allow another to teach some of the cognitive information that children need to know, but all education must be under the ultimate control and supervision of the parents.

We believe education in the home to be the best form of education, but we recognize that many parents cannot educate at home for valid reasons and support the right of parents to send their children to private Christian schools. We further recognize that because of economic or other reasons, a member parent or guardian may have no other alternative but to place a child in a public or private school. Although this is acceptable in society, we do not, however, support or condone public schools because of their ostensible, humanistic basis for teaching all subjects. We believe that the religions of secular humanism and Christianity are utterly different.

We believe that all education is religious in nature, since one's view of the world and life is inevitably involved in teaching (Proverbs 2:1-8, 3:1-2, with 6:20-23; and Matthew 28:18-20). Every discipline of knowledge, whether it be a subject such as mathematics, science, or history, will have as its final reference point a theistic or, in the alternative, a humanistic view of reality (Colossians 1:15-20 and 2:8-15), and that there is no neutral academic discipline.

Zeal for Purity at School and Co-op

As a Bible-base school and co-op group, we teach our students to have a zeal for purity in every thought, word, deed, intention and godliness is of a great reward! The Bible teaches in 2 Timothy 2:22, Flee also youthful lusts, but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Therefore, we do not agree or encourage:

  • Preteens or teenage dating or courtship with out a Word from the Living God regarding their spouse, which is an adult matter. (Matt 19:6)
  • Impure fantasies, thoughts and ideas that bombard children’s mind.
  • Deceptive attractions and desires that more often than not, leads to their own lusts, directing their actions, instead of a genuine love for the Father and obedience to their parents.
  • Living according to the works of the flesh – allowing thoughts and ideas that are not pure to live and take up residence in children’s heart and mind – is sin.

And what does sin do? It separates us from the Love of God, ruins, hinders, corrupts and destroys holy living. (Matt 5:27-30, Galatians 6:18; Romans 6:23, Gal 5:19, 5:24)

CHRISTIAN HOME EDUCATORS SUPPORT SYSTEM & KYIJEL GROUP CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, are both evangelistic-ministries of Our Report Ministries & Publications (Apostolic-Evangelistic Outreach) along with its’ Youth Discipleship Institute, Christian Children Influencing America (CCIA). We are established as a Ministry to support Christian families in Christian home education. We're working hard to maintain homeschooling freedoms and to empower parents and families to be strong and independent, since 2004. The goal is to develop, empower and educate parents on how to be pro-active in their children’s’ educational plan, by placing the responsibility back into the hands of the parents in a cooperative setting.

Parents are in the best position to understand the unique characteristics, abilities, and challenges of their child. The co-op will allow parents to assist each other in the classroom on a rotating basis and participate in the educational program of all the children, thus making it truly a cooperative venture. As a result, parents and children all go to school together and learn together.
